Water Is Not Working (LIV Model)

Water Is Not Working (LIV Model)

Confirmed Issue:

Water in the LIV van is not working or running properly.

Affected Units:

Any Vandoit LIV with a water system.

Issue Explanation:

The water system in the LIV van can have inconsistent water pressure or stop working for one of a couple reasons, including valves being closed, pump malfunctions, or pressure leaks.

Resolution:

1. Check to make sure the jerry can is full of water.

2. Turn the water pump rocker switch on and listen for noise from the pump. The switch should be dark blue.

Note: The water pump may not make noise if the water lines are already primed and pressured with water.

3.  Make sure all water line connections are airtight:
      A. Unscrew the large black plastic nut from the mouth of the jerry can.  Remove the interior black piece so you can access the white water line connector.

      B.  Pull both blue clips off the white water line connector at the mouth of the jerry can.  Firmly push both water lines into one another to make sure they are fully seated. Put the blue clips back on.

      C. Remove the blue clip where the water line connects to the water pump. Push the water line in firmly until fully seated. Put the blue clip back on.

Note: When connecting water lines, you may experience slight resistance.  Make sure to insert the water line until it cannot be inserted any farther.

Note: If you have a 10 gallon tank you will have 8 blue clips in this section: 3 surrounding the T-fitting, 2 on each quick connect valve, and 1 on the quick connect fitting connected to the water pump.

4. Open both the hot and cold faucet knobs by turning them all the way counterclockwise. Try spraying water using the coiled hose and sprayer. The sprayer should have good water pressure, and you should hear the pump making noise to keep the line primed.

5. If the water system is still not working properly after performing these steps, reach out to the Vandoit Customer Support team by submitting a ticket through the Customer Support portal or emailing support@vandoit.com.  Please include a video of all parts of the water system and how they are functioning.
