H1 Error on Espar EasyStart Pro Controller

Confirmed Issue:

The Espar EasyStart Pro controller displays an "H1 Error" message and the Espar furnace will not operate.


Affected Units:

Any Vandoit van with a Espar EasyStart Pro controller installed.

Explanation:

A fault has occurred with the Espar heater.

This video provides a helpful guide to the steps outlined below.

Resolution:

To clear the H1 Error message:

1. Click the center of the operation button.

2. Rotate the button until the Gear icon is flashing.

3. Click the center of the button.

4. Hold the “Back” button for approximately 5 seconds to engage the setup mode.

5. Rotate the button to the “Error Memory” and click the center button.

6. Rotate the button to “H1 Heater” and click the center of the button.

7. Click the center of the button on “Read” to view the error code. Rotate the button to view each error code.

8. Take a photo of each error code.

9. Press the “Back” button and rotate the button to “Delete.” Click the center of the button.

10. Repeat steps 7, 8, and 9 for the "Control Unit."

11. Submit a ticket through the Vandoit Customer Support portal or email support@vandoit.com with a description of what you are experiencing and photo(s) of the error code(s) you captured while following these steps.
