Water Heater Is Leaking

Confirmed Issue:

Water is leaking from the Bosch water heater.

Affected Units:

Any Vandoit van with a Bosch water heater.

Issue Explanation:

There is a crack or bad connection on the Bosch water heater or along the water line running to or from the heater. When trying to use the water heater, there is water leaking along the water lines coming to or from the water heater. 

Resolution:

If a water leak involving the Bosch water heater has been noticed, take a picture or video to document where the leak is coming from. Send the pictures/video it to the Customer Support team  by submitting a ticket through the Customer Support portal or emailing  support@vandoit.com. Determining where the leak is coming from will help confirm the best course of troubleshooting to stop the leak.

The most common reason water may start leaking from the water heater is because the water system was not properly winterized and the water froze inside of it. Make sure the hot water box is being removed and/or winterized before cold weather has had a chance to freeze your water system. Follow the steps in this article to winterize the water system.
