Vandoit-Installed LED Dome Light is Out

Confirmed Issue:


A Vandoit-installed LED dome light is not working.


Affected Units:


Any Vandoit van with Vandoit-installed LED dome lights.


Explanation:


The connection to the light may need to be reseated.


Resolution:


1. Pull the dome light down (it is held in place by tension in the factory headliner).



2.  Wiggle the wires running from the light into the two-pin connector.

3.  If step 2 caused the light to intermittently work or flicker, disconnect the light from the two-pin connector and reseat it. 

4. Try turning the light on.

5. If the light is still not working, pull the light's wiring down until you see a Wago connector.  Disconnect and reconnect the Wago Connector.

6. Try turning the light on.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please submit a ticket through the Vandoit Customer Support portal or email support@vandoit.com with a description of what you are experiencing and photo(s) of the light's harness.
