MaxxAir Fan Not Responding to Remote

Confirmed Issue:
The MaxxAir Fan is not responding to the remote.

Affected Units:

Any Vandoit van with a MaxxAir Fan

Issue Explanation:


The fan remote is infrared, which means it needs to be pointed at the fan in order for it to respond. It is also possible that the remote has not yet been paired with the fan.

Resolution:

1. Move the remote closer to the fan and point it at the receiver, which is located next to the controls on the fan, then try using the remote again.



2. If the fan does not respond to step #1, check the battery life icon on the remote; 3 bars indicate a full battery.  If the icon indicates low battery, install a new set of batteries in the remote, and try using it again.

Idea
If two MaxxAir fans are installed in your van, only one remote is needed to operate both.
