How to Remove a Kitchen Pod or Single Sink Module Top in a LIV

Confirmed Issue:

The Kitchen Pod or Single Sink Module Top needs to be removed or moved to a different location inside a LIV Vandoit van.

Affected Units:

Any Vandoit van with a Kitchen Pod or Single Sink Module Top

Explanation:

The Kitchen Pod or Sink Modular Top needs to be removed or moved to a different location inside a LIV Vandoit van.

Resolution:

1. Locate the black caps. (Vandoit places them on the shelf underneath your sink when you pick up your van).

2. Locate the brass fitting behind your jump seat.

3. Close the black valves on the fitting behind the jump seat.

4. Open the faucet on kitchen pod sink and let the rest of the water in the lines drain out.

5. Once there is no more water coming from the sink, remove the brass fitting behind the jump seat.
There may be some water that leaks out when you are removing the water lines, so it is not a bad idea to have a bucket placed underneath.
6. Screw the black caps you located in step 1 on the water lines behind the jump seat, inside of your bed framing.

7. Remove the black bracket from in front of the gear slide; this will allow you to remove the water lines.

8. Your kitchen pod or sink module will be attached to the framing of your van by either two ratchet straps and eyelets locking it in, or there will be two black L-brackets behind the slide drawer. Simply detach the ratchet straps from the eyelets (if the first) or unscrew the bolts from the wall using an allen wrench (if the second).

9. Place the water lines in the base of the kitchen pod or coil them up and move the kitchen pod or sink module to the desired location.

If these steps do not resolve what you are needing, please submit a ticket through the Vandoit Customer Support portal or email support@vandoit.com with a description of what you are experiencing along with photo(s) of the sink and braided water line(s).
